On October 7, 2023, Sweetners' eleventh studio album, Flashback, was released. The album is alt-pop indie with contributions and cowriting credits from Elle Serein, Hayley Rodrigo, and Mia Laurent. The tale project narrates the story of Aurora. We travel through her life and viewpoint as a result of it. The project's opposite side shows Sweetener's ability to be understanding of her sexuality and melancholy. Although this isn't exactly what you would anticipate from the songwriter, she nevertheless demonstrates her ability to write songs and convey ideas via the minds of her listeners. The album starts off slowly but gets up on some pretty energetic tracks; Hayley's feature single perfectly encapsulated the essence of what Sweetener was aiming for. These two make a fantastic pair. From top to bottom, the album is a joy and among Sweetenre's greatest.
